Shed Head Shave!
The snow may have gone for now but it promises to be an especially cold Christmas for one local resident, Lee Marshall, who will be shaving all his hair off to raise money for Shed@ThePark as a finale to Chesham’s Xmas Produce Market on Sat 18th Dec.
"Shed@ThePark is such an amazing charity. Having witnessed the outstanding work that they do with local children from all walks of life - expanding their imaginations and their confidence - I really wanted to do something to help."
"My hair is currently quite long. I have spent 2 years growing my rebellious look, but am willing to sacrifice it all to raise money for Shed. Without additional funds Shed@ThePark will be forced to close".
Lee is hoping to raise in excess of £500 by completing his dare for Shed@ThePark. He also plans to try to sell his hair once cut to a wig-maker based at Pinewood Studios.
If you’d like to come and see it all happen and support Shed’s Christmas market stall, Chesham’s Christmas Produce Market starts at 10.00am and culminates with the Head Shave under the Clocktower at 2pm to be carried out by the expert hands of stylists from Men’s hairdressers ‘The Barber Shop Group’ in Chesham High Street.
